Shellter Project Installation & Identity: Art as Infrastructure
for Coastal Resilience and Education.
Rhode Island School of Design, Department of Landscape Architecture. Summer 2017.
Collaborated with landscape architecture faculty, graduate students, and scientists from the University of Rhode Island, to develop three spherical sculptural forms installed in the intertidal zone of India Point Park. These sculptures were designed as a strategy to improve the resilience of coastal ecosystems by creating constructed reefs colonized with bivalve filter feeders such as mussels and oysters. Drafted construction drawings, collaborated in the fabrication and installation of nine sculpture forms at India Point Park, and designed printed matter, and a website for this project.
