Architect Christopher Alexander released in 2004 — Written over the course of three decades — The Nature of Order: An Essay on the Art of building and the Nature of the Universe. The four-volume set outlines the properties that Alexander believes underlie beauty in art, nature, and architecture. This exhibit will be the abridged version of his manifesto. This exhibit proposes fifteen panels that describe the book by Christopher Alexander Elements of Style.

The exhibit creates a series of environments that reinforces Christopher Alexander concepts of style such as : levels of scale, strong centers, boundaries, alternating repetition, positive space, good shape, local symmetries, contrast. The design for the exhibit looks to embrace the concepts described by Alexander as a whole unit of methodology.
